Fourtrees
Fourtrees are located in the middle of the four clans, in the neutral territory (encircled in red). It is a group of four beautiful oak trees, where the four clans meet for a Gathering every full moon.
Secret of the Clans
Long before the clans were formed, a battle was held at Fourtrees. The spirit of a cat killed in that battle told the cats to "unite or die". Four cats claimed leadership, and created four clans. Starclan granted those leaders their nine lives at Fourtrees.
Gatherings
During Gatherings, Clan leaders announce current affairs and significant events in their Clan (like appointing new apprentices and warriors, or the death of a cat). They also use this time, if necessary, to ask for help from others, such as when WindClan asked RiverClan for drinking rights in their territory, when a drought shortened their water supply.
Warriors use this chance to meet their friends from other Clans and exchange information. Many cats will use a Gathering to try to determine the strength of another Clan.
